GHS boys beat Warwick in OT, 76-71

The Gloucester High School varsity boys’ basketball team notched their second win of the season over Warwick on Tuesday, beating the Raiders, 76-71, in overtime. 

Demariyea Sills led the Dukes with 24 points, Isaiah Spencer had 13 and Xander Cooke and Tyrik Ward had 11 each. Gloucester struck for 10 three-point shots in the win, including three each from Grayson Womble and Sills. 

The Dukes fell at Kecoughtan 54-51 on Friday. Cooke had 17 points and Sills added 12.

The GHS varsity girls lost to both Warwick and Kecoughtan. The Gloucester varsity girls and boys head to Bethel Friday and visit Mathews on Saturday. ...
