GHS basketball teams fall to Warriors

Gloucester High School opened the varsity basketball season Tuesday with losses to the visiting Kecoughtan Warriors. 

The GHS girls lost to Kecoughtan 57-35, led by Cameron O’Neill with 11 points. The Gloucester boys fell to the Warriors 72-65, led by Demariyea Sills with 24 points.

The varsity teams travel to Woodside Friday before the girls host Poquoson and the boys travel to Lafayette, both on Monday. Both squads travel to meet Denbigh on Tuesday.
