GHS baseball beats Crabbers, 6-4

The Gloucester High School varsity baseball team improved to 11-4 overall and 2-1 in Conference 10 play with a 6-4 win at Hampton last Thursday. The game was played a day ahead of its scheduled date to avoid a probable rainout. 

With the score tied at 3-3, the Dukes put three runs on the board in the ninth inning to get the win. Brett Lindsay got the victory on the mound. Cash Watkins had a hit and an RBI for Gloucester, and Jason Wood contributed a hit and a double. 

The Dukes travel to Kecoughtan today and host Warwick on Tuesday before the final game of the regular season with Menchville at GHS on May 19.  ...
