After six matches, the Gloucester High School golf team is firmly atop the Peninsula District standings, leading second-place Warwick by 168 strokes.
Jeremy Carr is the Dukes’ top golfer, winning five of the matches and maintaining an average of under 80. He shot a low of 66 strokes in the first match of the season. Other top golfers for Gloucester include Camden Richardson (who is averaging 96.5), Zach Barrick (who maintains an average of 105.4) and Connor Smith (who shoots 106.6 on average). Other members of the GHS golf team include Jackson Dutton, Lucy Alexander, Drew Adkins, Wyatt Lawson, Chris Potter, Tyler Pasapanki and Hunter Rilee.
As a team, Gloucester has won five of six matches, with the only loss going to Warwick.
