The Gloucester County School Board appointed Adam Neely of Newport News as an assistant principal at Gloucester High School during its annual retreat held Aug. 8 at the Moton Center. The appointment was effective Aug. 1.

Appointed to teaching positions were Nancy Kast and Nicole Lantz, both of Hayes, and Brandy Peet of Gloucester, all effective Aug. 13. 

Appointed to support services positions were Amy Heaton of Gloucester and Catrina Jones of Ordinary, both effective Aug. 13, and Teresa Martin of Gloucester and Meredith Smith of Hayes, both effective Aug. 28. 

Also, former Botetourt Elementary School teacher assistant Victoria Huskey was appointed as a teacher at the school, effective Aug. 13.
