GHP has new office, executive director

 

The Gloucester Housing Partnership, an organization that helps repair homes and restore hope for those in need in the county, has moved into the DeHardit House on Lewis Avenue and has also hired a new executive director, Susan Soles of North. 

According to Danny Joyce, longtime foreman with the organization, the GHP moved from its previous location inside the Botetourt Masonic Lodge in order to be more accessible to the community. The new location also has a private space for the GHP board to meet to help guide and direct new jobs the organization takes on.

Joyce said Soles, who has been on the job for about two weeks, replaced the previous executive director Traci Jackson, who resigned earlier in the spring to pursue another venture.
