Gertrude Watts Brown, 79, of Gloucester, died at her home Jan. 7, 2018.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Brown Sr., and daughter, Lesa Hall.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth H. Brown Jr. (Terry); grandchildren, Ashley Steele (Randy), Jimmy Brown, James Hall Jr. (Jennifer) and Holly Hall; great-grandchildren, Chase, Landen, Owen and Emily Steele, and Logan Hall; sisters, Millie Jones (James) and Maurica Pratt.

Gertrude was very artistic and enjoyed floral designing. She was kind and dedicated to her family. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Bill West will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, Jan. 11 from 7- 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
