Regina Gerstman recently joined the staff of Steider & Associates, a Gloucester-based counseling business that also operates offices in Kilmarnock and Warsaw.

Gerstman, a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker, works part-time at the company’s Gloucester office. She counsels adults for women’s health issues, marriage counseling, separation and divorce, career transitions, and transition to retirement, and coping for late-life situations.

Gerstman has been a psychotherapist for about 20 years, having previously worked at several other Gloucester area counseling offices.

Previously, she taught human development courses on the college level for eight years, including four years at Christopher Newport University. She holds a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., Gerstman now resides at Clay Bank.
