Gerald Robert “Jerry” Cady Jr., 58, of Glenns, Va., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 in Richmond, Va.

He was a native of Maine, N.Y., and was the son of the late Gerald R. Cady Sr. and Ann O’Leary Cady. He was employed by Huntington Ingalls Co. where he worked in the RCT Department. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Cady and is survived by his wife, Karen Cady; his children, Michael Cady, Jeremy Cady, Katie Cady, Sara Cady, and Rebekah Cady; his siblings, Margie C. Hitchcock, Michael Cady, Mary C. Mace, Jim Cady; sister-in-law, Carol B. Rich, and his grandchildren, Avery Cady, Emmytt Cady, and Sady Cady.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016, from 6:30-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
