Georgie B. Kendall, 81, of Susan, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Kendall and sister, Beatrice Johnson.

She is survived by a step-daughter, Maria Rogers; nieces, Sharon Singleton, Yvonne Johnson, Maxine Johnson, Vera Johnson, Tara Brownley; nephews, Curtis L. Johnson Jr., Floyd Johnson Sr., Lawrence Johnson, Dennis Johnson, Travis Brownley.

Visitation was held at Antioch Baptist Church, Susan, Va., at noon on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. A funeral service followed at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Hampton National Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Fayetteville, N.C.
