A funeral for Georgia M. Smith, 88, of Mathews, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, in Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal. She died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial followed in Poplar Woods Cemetery, Cardinal.

Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins, was in charge.
