Georgia Lee Marshall, age 92, of Gloucester, was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 2, 2026. Georgia was born on September 3, 1933 to Joe and Alice Gillen of Gloucester, Virginia. Georgia graduated from Botetourt School, where she played softball and basketball. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Alice Gillen; James Harvey Marshall Sr. (husband); Joann Tiano (daughter), and James Harvey Marshall Jr. (son). She is survived by her son, Joseph Marshall (Anita); daughter-in-law, Teresa Marshall; grandchildren, Kevin Marshall (Jan), Matthew Marshall (Nichole), Kim Clark (Ben), and Lynsey Hydrusko (Matt), and great-grandchildren, Amanda Marshall, Gaige Marshall, Brooks Marshall, Braden Clark, Seth Clark, and Brynn Hydrusko.
Georgia was a member of Groves Memorial Presbyterian Church. The many pastimes Georgia enjoyed were hard work, sewing, crocheting, gardening, and cooking.
We would like to thank everyone at the Gloucester House Retirement Facility, Riverside Hospice, and the many family members and friends that came to visit. She loved and cherished you all dearly. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside funeral service at noon in Rosewell Memorial Garden conducted by Pastor Michael Condrey.
