A Celebration of Life service for George Whalen Smith, 71, of Baltimore, Maryland, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, in Parklane Baptist Church, Baltimore. He died Nov. 16, 2019.

He was a native of Gloucester County and was preceded in death by his parents, George Vernon and Mary Elizabeth Jarvis Smith, and a son, Jeffrey.

Survivors include his daughter, Cherey; a sister, Diane Smith Dixon of Gloucester, and six grandchildren.
