George Steeves returns to Westmoreland Players’ stage March 22-23

George Steeves returns to the Westmoreland Players’ stage on Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday March 23 at 3 p.m.

Admission is free to the Westmoreland Players theater at 16217 Richmond Road, Callao, as they hold a screening of a documentary about the making of Steeves’ hit one-man show, “Magic 8 Ball.” The one-hour documentary, titled “My Life With Asperger’s,” will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

Steeves made his East Coast debut of “Magic 8 Ball” at the Westmoreland Players theater in 2018. The show has brought him great success. He performed it in 2017 at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, also at Solo Fest 2018 (the largest solo theater festival on the West Coast), and at the International Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

“Magic 8 Ball” has won numerous awards including, “Pick of the Fringe” at Edinburgh, where, out of 3,700 shows, only 200 are selected for awards. Steeves has performed the one-man show at California State University and Skiptown Playhouse ...
