A funeral service for Geneva M. Stokes, 46, of Mathews, will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 2, in Gleaning Baptist Church, Dutton. She died Jan. 21, 2013.

She was born in Gloucester on Jan. 11, 1967 to Eva Montaque Stokes and the late Eddie Stokes Jr. of Gloucester.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by four children, Genalle, Shawnell, Shawn, and Desiree Stokes; one sister, and five brothers.

She will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the service time. Burial will follow in Rising Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, James Store.
