Genealogy workshop next month at library

A workshop on genealogy will be held Saturday, April 20, in Gloucester Library in Main Street Center, sponsored by the Augustine Warner Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.

The workshop opens at 10 a.m. and will wrap up at 3 p.m. The $25 registration fee includes a box lunch.

Speakers from a number of entities will explain local resources available to researchers. These include the Gazette-Journal, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Guinea Heritage Association, Gloucester Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, the Menokin Foundation, the library’s Virginia Room, and the state DAR registrar.
