GCPS to stop delivering meals after spring break

With Gloucester Public School children expected to return to a four-day instructional week beginning April 19, the school division will stop delivering meals after spring break.

The last day for meal deliveries will be on Monday, April 12 when meals will be delivered to last for five days, Monday through Friday, for children doing their school work virtually.

Meals will also be available for pickup on Wednesday, April 14, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at any public elementary school or Gloucester High School. These meals are intended to last Wednesday through Friday, as schools will be closed Thursday and Friday.

On Monday, April 19, meal pickups for virtual learners will be from 7 to 8:15 a.m. at all elementary schools and from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at GHS.

Starting on Tuesday, April 20, all students at school will be sent home with a meal for Wednesday, the one day a week that all children will be learning virtually.
