8 oz. cream cheese

2 c. grated Cheddar cheese or grated jalapeno jack

1 c. mayonnaise

1 small purple onion, diced, or chopped green onions; either is optional


Place all ingredients in a shallow baking dish. Microwave on high for two minutes or until the ingredients are melted enough to stir together. Stir until combined. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.


Serve with Fritos Scoops or Wheat Thins.

2 c. shredded extra-sharp cheese
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ c. mayonnaise
¼ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
¼ tsp. onion powder
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
4-oz. jar diced pimientos, drained

Salt and black pepper to taste

Use hand mixer to mix cream cheese, mayonnaise and spices, fold in grated cheese, jalapeno and pimientos. Season with salt and pepper.
