Gastroenterology practice moves into Sentara Medical Arts Complex at White Marsh

The Sentara Medical Arts complex at White Marsh announced that some new medical staff members are now practicing there.

Bob Leek, senior physician liaison for Sentara, said that Colonial Gastroenterology Associates began service in Gloucester recently. The practice is a group of physicians serving the Peninsula and Williamsburg area.

Two physicians, Jin X. Zhang and G.S. Rakhra, will treat patients at the Gloucester office, which also includes Drs. Lisa Oda Basi and Kenneth Adams, has offices in Williamsburg and at Port Warwick in Newport News. The Endoscopy Unit is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.

Stephen J. Friedrich, director of Middle Peninsula operations for Sentara, said the doctors will use a time-share suite at Gloucester Medical Arts.
