Kemp Gaskill has joined the Kilmarnock office of Chesapeake Wealth Management.

Gaskill is a Certified Financial Planner Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, and an Accredited Trust and Financial Advisor, according to a release. He comes to Chesapeake from First American Bank & Trust Company in Athens, Georgia, where he was Vice President and Trust Officer. He has three decades of experience in the financial and trust industry, including prior positions as a Vice President and Retirement Plan Specialist with RBC Centura Bank and its subsidiary, Voyageur Asset Management.

Gaskill is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned a Trust Management Certification from Campbell University. He is also a graduate of Southern Trust School, and was an Instructor at the Georgia Bankers’ Association Banking School. Other prior professional certifications include FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses.
