Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews will host “It’s Fall Fashion, Y’All!” fashion show and luncheon in October—an afternoon of fashion, food, shopping and seasonal fun. The ticketed fundraising event, open to the public, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at The Shores of Cedar Point, 528 Cedar Point Lane, Bohannon. Doors will open at 11 a.m., with vendor shopping beginning at that time. Tickets are limited and are available for $100 each. Members of the GCGM Ways and Means Committee, led by chair Linda Farr, recently met to finalize plans. The afternoon will feature fashions by Chico’s, a gourmet lunch by Brian Marshall, a complimentary drink, vendor shopping, and a raffle offering more than 20 tabletop flower arrangements. “Best of all, proceeds from this special event will help fund the GCGM’s 2028 centennial community gift,” Farr said.
