Members of the Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews brightened up the holidays this year for residents of Sanders Assisted Living in Gloucester and Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation in Mathews. On Dec. 3, the Beautification Committee and club members assembled and created 31 new and refurbished wreaths for residents of Sanders to hang on their doors, and also assembled and donated a holiday greenery basket to Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation. At Sanders, Activities Director Rhonda Stolfi provided a place for the women to set up and work. While there, the residents enjoyed the company and camaraderie of club members. In Mathews, Recreation Therapy Director Olivia Powell, and Social Worker Susan Cottle received the holiday greenery arrangement from Garden Club member Mary Galloway.
