Staff and volunteers of the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic, formerly the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic, have been busy over the last several weeks moving into their new facility, located in the Gloucester Business Park, White Marsh. A “soft opening” of the new facility is scheduled for Tuesday.

GMCC marketing/development associate Babs Zuhowski said administrative staff began moving out of their old administrative office facility, which was located on Business Route 17 near Gloucester Court House, into the new facility about three weeks ago, and have been screening patients there since receiving a certificate of occupancy two weeks ago.

Over the next several days, staff and volunteers will be moving equipment and furniture from the clinic at Hayes to the new facility. That building will go back to use by Riverside Health System, which owns it.
