The Gazette-Journal is asking our readers’ help to provide a very special Christmas Greetings section to the public on Dec. 18.

As always, we invite children to submit Letters to Santa Claus to us, by dropping them by the Gloucester office at 6625 Main Street, or the Mathews office at 28 Court Street.

We will run as many of these as possible in the Dec. 18 paper. Any that arrive later may get to Santa Claus in time via our Dec. 25 paper, which is coming out a day early.

Children, please put your name and address at the bottom.

We also ask readers to share favorite recipes that will grace the tables for their Christmas dinners.

The Christmas meal is all about tradition, and we hope to include some of these family traditions in our Dec. 18 issue. This will give our readers time to try them for themselves.
