The Local Scoop commissioned Irvington artist Christian Johnson to produce his impression of a kayak trip on the Dragon Run for use on the March 2022 cover of the magazine. The magazine and its publisher Susan McFadden have donated 200 prints of the artwork to the Friends of the Dragon Run to sell as a fundraiser. Framed and unframed Dragon Run prints may be purchased online at DragonRun.org. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit organization.
