The Friends of Dragon Run will participate in the Global Big Day 2025 on Saturday. This is an annual birding event where bird enthusiasts share their findings with eBird.
The event is open to FODR members and their families (all ages are welcome). To register, use the Global Big Day registration on the Friends of the Dragon Run website (www.dragonrun.org). Membership can be purchased on the site.
Participants will meet at the Teta Kain Nature Preserve at 2 p.m. to observe, identify, and use eBird to record bird sightings. The preserve is located on Farley Park Road (Route 603) at the New Dragon Bridge in the King and Queen County community of Mascot.
