The Friends of Deltaville Library will hold its annual book sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Deltaville Public Library, 35 Lovers Lane, Deltaville.
This annual sale features hundreds of gently used books from fiction, history, nautical, art and music, cookbooks, gardening, travel to kids’ books. They will also have a number of older “vintage” books that will be available. Shoppers are asked to bring a bag and make a donation.
All proceeds support the local library. In the last year the Friends have supported a major landscaping project featuring a pollinator mural, a demonstration native plant garden, and planting of native bushes and trees on our property. This year, they also provided funding for renovating our restrooms and kitchen.
