The NAACP chapters in Gloucester and Mathews recently held their annual Freedom Fund Banquets, with the Gloucester event held on Sept. 24 at Riverwalk Restaurant in Yorktown and the Mathews banquet this past Saturday at the Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
