Free medical clinic comes to Gloucester

Remote Area Medical will bring free medical clinic services to Gloucester next month.

The clinic will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 4 at Ware Academy on John Clayton Memorial Highway. Over the past 33 years, Remote Area Medical has provided free medical, dental and vision care to hundreds of thousands of people through mobile medical clinics throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Every RAM clinic is free and open to the public. There are no qualifying questions, no need for health insurance and ID is not required. The clinic parking lot opens at midnight on the first night of the event, with numbered tickets begin distributed at 3 a.m. Clinic doors open at 6 a.m. The process will repeat the following day.

Due to time constraints, those attending are asked to be prepared to choose between dental and vision services, according to the RAM website. Medical services are offered to every patient attending the clinic.
