Dr. Charles Harris and the dedicated staff of his Gloucester dental practice are again organizing a massive effort to offer free dental services to as many people as possible in a single day.
The third annual free Mission of Mercy dental clinic, sponsored by Harris and the Gloucester-Mathews Free Clinic, with assistance from the Virginia Dental Association in Richmond, will be offered from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at Gloucester High School.
Project coordinator Kelly Cooper of Harris’s office is pulling together a team of dental professionals from Gloucester and across the state to spend the day taking x-rays, performing extractions, filling and cleaning teeth, and providing other services as needed. In addition to general dentistry practitioners, there will be oral surgeons and pediatric dentists on hand.
