Franklin Brooks, 72, of Mathews, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 21, 2018.

Frank is survived by his wife, Marjorie; daughter, Monica Brooks; adopted son, Duane Forrest (Lucy); granddaughter, Mariah, and grandson, Jerry.

A homegoing service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Zion Baptist Church, 2546 East River Road, Cardinal, Va.

Mr. Brooks may be viewed at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins.
