Frances Naomi Grasty, born March 1, 1935, passed away June 30, 2019 at her home in Gloucester.

She retired from Colonial Williamsburg after 19 years of service. She was a kind Christian woman of great faith. Frances was well known for her love of church, family, friends and flowers. She will be missed by her family and remembered with the upmost affection.

She was preceded in death by husband, Frank T. Grasty; parents; sisters, and brothers.

She leaves to rejoice in her memory, daughter, Linda Washington; special friend who was like a daughter, Marilyn Pollard; grandson, Bryan Washington; great-granddaughter, Alaina Washington; sister-in-law, Carolyn Gregory, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be at noon Friday, July 5, 2019, at Tabernacle of Faith Church, 7028 Woodville Road, Hayes, Va. 23072. Interment will follow in Smithfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
