FRANCES ALBERT GWYN

Frances Albert Gwyn, 90, of Gloucester, passed away Sept. 29, 2013 at the Gloucester House.

Frances was born in Pennsylvania, and served during WWII for two years in the U.S. Coast Guard. She and her late husband, Patrick Gwyn, owned and operated Gwyn’s Lunch and Restaurant in Gloucester for 40 years.

Frances had a great love for hunting, fishing and her dogs. She was a member of Travelers Rest Hunt Club, King and Queen and East Dragon Hunt Club, Middlesex, for a number of years.

She is survived by niece, Mary Lou Slowinski; nephew and caregiver, Doug Leckey, and wife Brinda, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service with military honors, conducted by the Rev. W. Donald Ambrose, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will be in Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, Pa.
