American Legion Posts 75 and 83, Disabled American Veterans’ Chapter 58, Marine Corps League Detachment 1317, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8252 will hold a Four Chaplains service beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6470 Main Street, Gloucester.

The service marks the 80th anniversary of the sinking of the troop ship SS Dorchester and the sacrifice of four chaplains in saving the lives of their fellow soldiers. The public is invited to attend and stay after the service for lunch.
