Eliana (“Ellie”) Fountain is the new Director of Children’s and Youth Ministries at Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point.
The Gloucester High School graduate is a member of Emmanuel UMC in Mathews. Fountain was instrumental in the creation of the LIFT (Living In Faith Together) program in Mathews, which is a collaborative youth outreach group to unite churches, support families, and spread the joy in Christ.
She has also been a Children’s and Youth Ministry Volunteer at Salem UMC, Shackelfords Chapel UMC and Emmanuel UMC, an assistant teacher for children’s church, an assistant worship leader for VBS, and enjoys being involved with the Court House Players.
Her first Sunday at Bethany was Aug. 17....
