The Super Bowl is the single largest sporting event in North America. It’s the largest day of food consumption in the U.S. after Thanksgiving Day. More than 200 million people will be tuning in on Feb. 3 to watch the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers battle for the Vince Lombardi trophy while a possible 79,000 will be seated at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome (formerly the Louisiana Superdome) in New Orleans, cheering on their favorite team.

Super Bowl parties, large and small, will have been going on for days prior to kickoff.
