A food safety certification course will be held next month in Gloucester.

From 2-5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Feb. 6-15, Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism will hold the class at the Stewart Building in Gloucester Court House.

This course meets Gloucester County code requirements for food service providers. The full course fee is $185. For those needing the test only, the test date is Feb. 15.

There are two options: with book is $85 or without book is $65. The registration deadline is Jan. 15.

According to county code, no one shall operate a food establishment unless there is at least one full-time certified food service manager on staff.
