Flower workshop to be held during festival

Children ages 6-13 are invited to take part in a free flower-arranging workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, at Arts on Main during that weekend’s Gloucester Daffodil Festival, immediately after the Daffodil Festival Parade. With the theme “Sounds of Spring,” each child will choose a colorful selection of flowers and given supplies to create an artistic arrangement to take home. The event is free, all supplies and flowers are provided by the Garden Club of Gloucester and Mathews.

Interested children may be registered by calling or texting Beth Tripp at 757-880-1884 or emailing tripphome@msn.com. Those contacting Tripp are asked to provide the child’s name and age and the parents’ phone number.
