A graveside service for Florence Concilus Payne of Gloucester Point, was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery, Ordinary. She died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012.

She was the widow of Captain Jimmy Payne, and was a first grade teacher in Pennsylvania for 11 years before moving to Virginia in 1953.

Surrvivors include Stephanie Panzera, Stephen Cousins, Jason Cousins, Mark and Vickie Concilus, Donald and Alice Alexander, Carol O’Hare, and Nick Concilus.

The Rev. James Cowles conducted the service.
