Flora Joyce Hudgins, 82, of Port Haywood, went to be with her Lord and family on Monday, June 26, 2017.

She was born on Feb. 27, 1935 in Hallieford. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and Leslie Hudgins; her loving husband of 54 years, Tabb Hudgins, and by her sister, Betty Ann and McCoy Hudgins.

She is survived by her niece, Brenda Payne and her husband Rick of Lanexa; her wonderful nephew, Christopher Rice of York County; her dear friend and cousin, Flora Clark of Onemo, and many special cousins and friends.

She was also a longtime member of Mathews Chapel and Bethel United Methodist churches.

The family had visitation from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, with her funeral service immediately following at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Virginia. Burial was at St. Paul Cemetery, Susan, following the service.
