Flora Gunn Ambrose, age 100, a native of Gloucester County, died at the home of Richard Bryant, where she was surrounded by her beloved son, wife and one very special grandson, Frankie Alexander Bryant, on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019.

Mrs. Ambrose was of strong Baptist faith and family-oriented. She owned and operated her beauty shop as a hairdresser for many years from her home. She enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening.

Husband Frankie Ambrose; daughter, Amy Madison; parents, Vincent and Lucy Sibley Gunn, preceded her in death.

Survivors include son, Richard William Bryant, wife Avi Bryant; grandson, Frankie A. Bryant, and daughter, Julia Bryant; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The family received friends Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, followed by a 2 o’clock graveside service in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. Chris McMillan.
