Five Rivers donations

The Five Rivers Woman’s Club donated proceeds from two recent fundraisers to the Gloucester-Mathews Care Clinic and the Bread for Life Food Pantry. The club’s annual Bunco Night was held in April, and a Paint Night was held in July. Five Rivers’ objectives are to promote interest in the arts, conservation, home life, education, public affairs, and international affairs and to provide members with the opportunity for community service, a release stated. The club is affiliated with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and the Virginia Federation of Women’s Clubs, Lee District.
