First Presbyterian to hold free family movie night

First Presbyterian Church, Gloucester, invites the public to its “Movies Under the Stars” series, which begins with the animated movie “Sing” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 5, on the church lawn, 6470 Main Street. Seating starts at 7:30 p.m., and the show will begin at sunset, around 8.

The event is free, and popcorn and drinks will be given to every person attending. Funflicks Outdoor Movie Service will provide video and sound production. Organizers encourage people to bring a blanket or lawn chair.

“We encourage people of all ages to come out for the first of our ‘Movies under the Stars,’” Missions Committee member Ken Gibson said. 

First Presbyterian plans to offer the next in its movieseries in the fall.
