The Baystars U9 Hurricanes took first place in Beach FC’s 20th annual Coastal Kickfest Tournament over the weekend, winning four games over two days. Throughout the weekend, goals were scored by Theo Collins (seven), Declan Long (six), Audrick Martinez (four), Jep Doley (three), Bryce Dautzenberg (three) and Gabriel Franklin (one). Sebastian Newman and Emmett Brooks split time as goalkeepers, achieving multiple saves. Defense was led by center midfielder Jack Sheridan.
