‘Finding Solitude’ exhibit opens Friday at Bay School

“Finding Solitude,” an exhibit of works by 26 artists, opens with a reception from 5-7 p.m. this Friday, March 31, at the Bay School Community Arts Center, Main Street, Mathews.

Solitude can be either positive or negative, depending on the circumstances, said a press release. It could be something that someone enjoys alone, such as a quiet walk in the woods or a cup of tea, or it could be an overwhelming feeling of loneliness. Through the vision of the artists, the artwork from Finding Solitude captures the state and feeling of solitude in multiple ways.

“Come enjoy food, drinks, art, artists, and great company,” said the release.
