The great hunt is on. Chesapeake Bank has launched its Chesapeake Bank Duck Hunt, a promotion to get more people to visit and support local businesses.
Beginning this week and running through Dec. 20, Chessie the Duck—a stuffed mallard sporting a Chesapeake Bank kerchief—will be placed in various locally owned businesses throughout the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, Williamsburg and Richmond regions.
When players find a Chessie, they can take the toy to any Chesapeake Bank to find out what they’ve won, based on a number on the duck. Prizes range from $25 to $500.
“Chesapeake Bank Duck Hunt players can get clues about Chessie’s location by going to thebuckstayshere.com—a new, online business directory powered by Chesapeake Bank. The website offers details on hundreds of locally owned small businesses that are in the communities we serve,” said Paula Milsted, Chesapeake Bank Director of Marketing.
