Financial services office opened in Mathews

Tim Roscher, branch manager for Voya Financial Advisors, Inc., a financial planning business, has opened an office at his home in North.

The former Chesapeake resident and his family came to Mathews County in May, and Roscher has already settled in, becoming a member of the Piankatank Ruritan Club and American Legion Post 83.

As an independent broker, Roscher offers to take a complete look at a person’s investments, real estate, insurance, income and expenses and build a plan for the future, whether that future includes getting an education, making a major purchase, or retiring. He also sells insurance products that include life, long-term care and disability insurance.

Once a client’s financial plan is made, Roscher said that he will provide an annual review and regularly advise on investments as part of an ongoing relationship.
