Final inspection of Norris Bridge deck work scheduled for Friday

On Friday, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will conduct a final inspection of the bridge deck patching that was performed on the Robert O. Norris Bridge.  The patching work began in mid-November.

During the inspection, motorists will be restricted to one lane on the bridge.

The inspection is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to complete by 3 p.m. Motorists should expect brief delays throughout the day.
The Norris Bridge is located on Route 3 between Lancaster and Middlesex counties, and crosses the Rappahannock River at White Stone.
