A female-owned flooring business is establishing itself in Gloucester County after four months of operation. Rye’s Flooring, led by business partners Ashley Savage and store namesake Ryanne Tyler, is located in the White Marsh Shopping Center.

“We were very lucky to find the location,” remarked Savage, “and the landlords have been really good about helping startups like us get established.”

All five of the staff of Rye’s Flooring are local and the installers hired to put product in customers’ homes are sourced from Gloucester and the surrounding area.

“We aren’t family but we grew up together and it kind of feels that way,” said Savage of her and Tyler’s partnership.

Tyler brings with her a lifetime of experience being in and around the flooring business, as her family ran similar companies like Big Bob’s Flooring all her life.
