A FEMA class on business continuity will be held at Gloucester Emergency Management, 7478 Justice Drive, on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
The eight-hour course, with no tuition charge, is described as on planning and management level, and “defines business continuity within the framework of emergency management.” A course description said, “Continuity is an important element of preparedness and an integral part of each core capability across the five mission areas of protection, prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery.”
The description said the course is helpful for governmental administrative and elected officials; private sector and corporate security and safety professionals; public works; community emergency management personnel; community stakeholders; retail representatives; and food preparation personnel.
